National Memory Screening Day is an annual event held each November.

National Memory Screening Day is spearheaded by the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA) to promote early detection of Alzheimer's disease and related illnesses, and to encourage appropriate intervention.

AFA carries out this event in collaboration with organizations and healthcare professionals across the United States—bringing them together for care. Participating sites offer free confidential memory screenings, as well as follow up resources and educational materials about memory concerns and successful aging. Together, we hope to improve quality of life. Sign up now to participate as a screening site in NMSD-2009. Click here.

Community Memory Screenings

Your memory concerns matter to us..
That's why we are introducing “Community Memory Screenings,"
an initiative of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
On this site, we are listing free, confidential memory screenings that local organizations are offering during the year in their communities as part of this initiative--in addition to those offered on NMSD.
